Personally, in this era I do not think that wedding card is that important since internet is conquering the world now. People can easily email or sms the invitation. Oh yeah, easy and free!
But somehow, wedding card do still and remains classic. Btw, who's on earth doesn't want to have a wedding card? ops, sorry if there is outhere.
Wedding cards do have there own ways in showing the wedding ceremony itself and the bride/groom's personality.
Lots lots of choices of wedding cards out there. Made from different paper quality, different size, diffrerent layout; those determining the price. Nowadays, you can even buy them online!
Price principal : The more you buy, the cheaper it gets. But of course, I prefer the economy ones =D

Duration of preparing : Its advisable to make booking 2-3 months before your wedding
